I have some videos that I saved on the pvr decoder but since it is no longer working, I was just wondering if there is anyway I can retrieve and watch it on a computer

You can try disconnecting the hard drive from the decoder and then connecting it as an external hard drive to your computer. You may need an ide cable or something
