The current governor of Osun state,, Aregbesola who was elected on the platform of APC seems to be doing everything he can just to Islamize the state. Why is he acting like this? Most of his policies are aimed at attacking those who are not Muslims and this is not the way an elected public official should be acting. Osun has had governors before him in the past and they did not get involved in religious issues but Aregbesola and APC seem to be acting to promote Islam in everything they do.

First he took an Islamic bond (SUKUK)of 11.4bn in 2007

Secondly, he initiated the reclassified and merging of schools irrespective of whether they are for single genders of faith based. He is forcing Christian schools to accept Muslim students and Muslim schools to accept Christian students.

Thirdly, he is promoting the wearing of hijab by female girls in all schools including Christian schools

Why does it seem like he is promoting an Islamic agenda when he should be focusing on his cure duties are governor?
