The president of any country is a very powerful person and when we are talking about Nigeria, even more so. I do believe that Jonathan and the former presidents of Nigeria really know those behind the Boko Haram menace. Why are they not doing anything to arrest the situation. It seems that the president is sort of afraid of stepping on toes or maybe the northern elite are looking for a sort of compensation as was done for Niger delta militants
