Texas is the largest state in the USA and Nigeria is actually a very large country in West Africa. Now between the two, which is larger?

Well, Nigeria is larger than Texas. Look at the details:

Area: 923,768 km2
Ranking: 37th largest country about twice the size of California

Texas:
Area: 696,200 km2 and larger than France or even Germany
Rank: 40th largest if it was a country

So in all, Nigeria is larger than Texas by over 200,000 km2.

Point of correction: Alaska is the largest state in the USA while texas is only second

Now Alaska is much bigger than Nigeria having a size of 1,518,800 km2. I read that Alaska was purchased from the Russian Empire on March 30, 1867, for $7.2 million ($113 million in 2011 dollars) see. Wikipedia.

Those who allow themselves to be deceived with the fact that Texas is more bigger than Nigeria you all lie because when it comes to land mark, Nigeria is more bigger having a relative land mark of 923,768km square. You cannot compare a populated country like Nigeria to be having less landmark.
