What are the good or positive things you remember that Obasanjo did when he was president of Nigeria?

One striking thing I can remember is that he helped reduced Nigeria's foreign debt by a huge amount. He got debt pardon and when he left office, we were hardly owing any foreign country.

Yes it's true. OBJ did some good things although he was not perfect. Before Obasanjo came, there was no GSM but after he came, we started talking like magic on our mobile phones. So, he helped privatize the telecommunications industry by the introduction of GSM services. Now we hear of names like MTN, Glo, Airtel and Etisalat. It was part of what Obasanjo did as President of Nigeria.
