Why are most Nigerians not married at 30?

It seems to be the trend now. Perhaps it may be because we grew up in a different environment or economic situation as out parents but what I've found out is that most Nigerians even over 30 are still unmarried. This is both common for men and women. Why is this so. Most of our parents married at 18 to 24 years even when they were not as educated as us so why does marriage tend to be delayed nowadays?
