It is funny to hear of people complaining of rising cost of living and how they can't settle their bills but yet spend most of their earnings eating at expensive restaurants. Why is it that most poor Americas have a poor knowledge of saving money

It is common among people who work full time. Buying a ready meal saves time and effort.

Because of societal pressure. Americans love to date, party, hang out with friends, avoid cooking at home and so on even when they can hardly afford it.
