Some people want Biafra to become a nation again but is this possible without going to war with Nigeria?

Yes, it can. If Nigerians vote peacefully to allow the creation of another state. It could prevent a civil war. I personally would want the government to organize a referendum and if majority of Nigerians support the creation of a new state called Biafra out of Nigeria, it would be peacefully done and if they say no, Biafra would be peacefully defeated. It's is that easy. A vote is cheaper than a civil war.
