The places I've seen having erosion problem in Anambra are the places where there are hardly any vegetation and mostly houses. Anambra people are cutting off old trees and those trees have been protecting them from erosion for many years. Stop cutting old trees and plant new ones. Who says that Anambra cannot develop without having trees? Anambra people need to cultivate the habit of planting and maintaining trees and vegetation that can help stop erosion. In my village in Nnewi Anambra, there is hardly any erosion because we have a lot of trees and some are over 100 years old. You can build your mansion without cutting all the trees in the forest.

Good roads need to be built with good drainage system and the federal govt should intervene because this is a natural disaster. What is Abuja doing with our ecological fund. The fund is meant to help support states with serious erosion like that in Anambra.
